NewsADVANCE RECRUITMENTS CONTINUES TO MEET STANDARDS OF 'EXCELLENCE IN QUALITY AND SERVICE'August 2006 Advance Recruitments has successfully retained its ISO 9001 Quality Assurance certification for the tenth consecutive year, further strengthening its commitment to 'Excellence in Quality and Service' whilst upholding its reputation for providing the highest quality temporary and permanent staff for industrial, commercial and executive roles. Certification to ISO 9001 involves an independent expert's assessment of an organisation's business processes and systems: The objective is to ensure that the system:
Advance Recruitments was the first labour hire firm in Australia to receive ISO9001 certification in 1996, and remains one of the few recruitment firms to display the universally-recognised 'Five Tick' logo. In order to maintain its accreditation, Advance Recruitments must consistently meet minimum standards, as stipulated in the initial accreditation process in all procedures (especially operational) which effect clients on a day-to-day basis. "Quality Assurance accreditation to the standard of ANZ ISO 9001:2000 is something Advance Recruitments is extremely proud of and is the fundamental basis for the delivery of our services, ensuring clients receive the highest quality standard every time," says Sascha Charlton, Managing Director of Advance Recruitments. One important component of the Accreditation process looks at 'self-monitoring and control'. For Advance Recruitments, this means ensuring that an ethos of continual improvement and self-assessment plays a crucial role in their operations. "Our focus is 'Excellence in Quality and Service', but you can't maintain that credo by standing still. Performance must continually improve, and the best way to ensure this happens is to integrate systems for ongoing improvement into our day-to-day operations," says Ms. Charlton. "That way, we constantly strive for improvement and the benefits are passed directly to our clients and workforce, which is the way it should be," she says.
