Advance Recruitments observes that it is often these individuals that can create and ultimately determine their preferred work opportunities based on their interests. While there is no doubt that workers like Darren take full advantage of the premium rates of pay to build up their savings accounts, they also have the chance to observe and work in a variety of worksites in which they form opinions about what will best suit them. For Darren, working as an Advance Recruitments casual is a consistent, not chaotic, experience. "I've worked for a few agencies, but Advance has been the only one to keep me going consistently with work. At this stage, I get the assignment and go and do it. I don't care what sort of work it is, as long as the money's there at the end of the week," says Darren. The willingness to work hard, diligently and safely is exactly the attitude and loyalty that Advance Recruitments want in an employee, and they returns that goodwill by making sure that their employee's earnings are in their bank account when they are due. "We've had cases where one of our staff has run down to a local branch to deposit money in an employee account to make sure it is there on time," says Managing Director Sascha Charlton. "We're acutely aware that we're an important part of their lives and that they can depend on us every single time. It's integral to Advance's customer service culture." Putting employees' interests first extends to the way work is organised, a factor that Darren rates highly in working for Advance. "Other agencies would get me a day of work here and a day there. Sometimes I'd have to travel right across town for just four hours of work," he says. "Advance regularly get me going to one place, usually a local place, five days a week. It makes a big difference when you don't have to travel around so much." Whether it's picking and packing, loading, forklift work, or labour work, Darren doesn't find it difficult to make the transition from one job to another. He is one of the many outstanding workers that reinforce Advance Recruitments' strong reputation in the market. |
